Hubbardston Trails -

It's finally summer and time to get outdoors with nature at the Mt. Jefferson and Malone Road conservation areas. The trails are all cleared and marked, the bridges have new railings, and we've found a way to coexist with the beavers that were flooding some trails last fall. Hikers, mountain bikers, birders, pinickers and trail riders will all find something to enjoy on the miles of trails - hike or ride out to Dottie Rock at the Malone Road Conservation area for a view of Mt. Wachusett; picnic at Mt. Jefferson field and cool off in the shade of the old beech tree; or test your stamina on the Red Oak - Muzzy Ridge trail connection off of French Road. Trail maps can be found in the mailboxes at both Malone and Mt. Jefferson.
