Late Fees for Unlicensed Dogs start Wednesday, May 1st

Starting Wednesday, May 1, 2019, any unlicensed dog will be assessed a $25 late fee. Please mail in, drop off, pay online, or come by in person during regular office hours Monday April 29 2pm-8pm or Tuesday, April 30 8am-4pm to avoid late fees. Cash or check only unless paying online. Thank you!

Hubbardston General Bylaw Chapter XXIV, Section 2:

SECTION 2. Licensing Fees

  Licensing Period:  April 1 through March 31, annually

  Fees and Penalties:

•             Male / Female                           $15.00
•             Neutered / Spayed                        10.00
•             Personal Kennels:    4 dogs or fewer       40.00
•             Kennels:  10 dogs or fewer              50.00 (Special Permit Required; see Section 3)
•             Kennels:  More than 10 dogs        60.00 (Special Permit Required; see Section 3)
•             Late Licensing Penalty                 25.00
•                                     (for dogs licensed on or after May 1)      
•             Failure to License (on or after June 1)   $50.00 (per MGL Ch 140, Sec 141)
•             Transfer of License                       2.00 
•             Duplicate Dog Tag                        1.00

The Late License Penalty and Failure to License fee will be collected in addition to the regular License Fee.   All amounts collected will be deposited in the Town Treasury.
