Nason Appointed Interim Town Administrator

The Hubbardston Select Board appointed Sandy Nason to serve as the town's Interim Town Administrator until they hire a permanent executive this fall. Sandy currently serves as the town's Treasurer Collector and has more than 17 years of municipal finance experience. Departing Town Administrator Ryan McLane will continue to consult with Nason during the transition to keep the town's projects moving forward.

The Board has also hired Municipal Resources Inc. as an executive consultant to help lead the search for a new Town Administrator. The search will begin this week as the newly appointed Town Administrator Search Committee works with the consultant to bring qualified candidates to the Board by October.

The Search Committee consists of the following appointees:

Laurie Reed - Town Clerk

Travis Brown - DPW Director

Debbie Chamberlain - Resident and SC Member

Susan Rayne - Finance Committee Chair

Seth Knipe - Resident

Mel Shaughnessy - Resident and COA Member

Erica Dack - Planning Board Representative

Toni Walker - Recorder
