Dinghy Dash

Join us for our 6th annual Dinghy Dash on Saturday, August 26th 2023 on Brigham pond at 10am. This year we have 3 categories to choose from, single occupant adult, single occupant youth and group vessel. You can find official entry forms and rules on attachments below. Entry deadline is August 21st.

Dinghy Dash 2023 was a success! We had 11 vessels compete today of all different designs. I would like to thank our Hubbardston Fire Department for rescuing all of our competitors that sank. Also thank you to Hubbardston Police Department for joining us and helping to safely get the fire boat trailer in. Thank you to our Town Administrator Nate Boudreau for being the judge this year. And also want to truly thank all of our competitors…. With out you all, we can’t have this event!

Most Creative Vessel went to The Silver Crock-David. Extended Voyage went to Sparkle Unicorn Horn-Maggie & Sara. 1st place went to Blue Bayou Returns-Mike with a time of 2:35, 2nd place went to The Patriot-Teddy with a time of 3:52 and 3rd place went to The Houseplant Gremlin-Tiny with a time of 5:37

1st place with a time of 2.22 went to Blue Bayou 3, Captain Mike Stoll

2nd place with a time of 5.28 went to The Colt, Captain Jason Gobar

3rd place with a time of 7.04 went to Dookie Dinghy Returns with Mr. Hankey, Captain Destiny Young.  

2019 winners:

1st place was Blue Bayou II with a time of 1:45. 

2nd place was My Other Dinghy with a time of 2:30.

3rd place was The Time Flies DeLorean with a time of 2:42.

Best Sink winner was It’ll Do and Most Creative Vessel winner was the Patriot.
