Master Plan Update (2024)
The Hubbardston Planning Board has been diligently working since 2017 to update the town's comprehensive Master Plan, which was last fully revised back in 1988. This major undertaking involves developing updated chapters that will guide Hubbardston's growth and development priorities for the next decade and beyond.
The Planning Board, along with input from various town committees and consultants, has made significant progress crafting new chapter drafts covering topics like land use, economic development, housing, natural resources, transportation, and more. This process has been made possible through the receipt of state and federal grant funding.
The Planning Board anticipates completing this multi-year master planning process and presenting the full draft plan for adoption by the end of 2024. Residents are encouraged to stay engaged by reviewing draft chapters, attending meetings, and providing input to help shape Hubbardston's future over the next crucial planning period.
