Introducing Hubbardston's New Town Clerk Kristin Foster

Please join us in welcoming Kristin Foster, Hubbardston’s new Town Clerk.  Mrs. Foster was interviewed and selected for this position at the end of September, with her first official day on the job being October 11th.  Kristin is a mother of four and has spent many years in customer service within the banking industry.  Having never worked in municipal government and starting right before a Special Town Meeting and State Election, she was fortunate to have Hubbardston’s beloved former Town Clerk Joyce Green as her temporary Assistant Town Clerk and trainer.  Though a bit of a trial by fire, Foster has managed to come through smiling.  Looking ahead six months, Kristin is eager to become more and more proficient in the many intricacies of her role, learn more about the government processes, and take on another Town Meeting and Election in June.  She’s looking forward to meeting and serving alongside and for the many people who make Hubbardston the wonderful town it is.
