2024 Community Preservation Committee Project Application Information

The Community Preservation Committee (CPC) is accepting project proposals for consideration at the November 2024 Fall Town Meeting.

Project Review Process:

• Projects should be referred to the appropriate town committee that oversees that category of project.
• 10 copies of the proposal must be submitted. Upon receipt, copies are distributed to all CPC members for review. The committee evaluates if the project qualifies for CPA funding and reviews the proposed budget.
• At the request of the applicant or a CPC member, the committee will schedule an interview and/or site visit.
• If approved by the CPC, the project will be recommended at Town Meeting for a vote. Town Meeting may reduce but not increase the requested funding amount.
• Projects approved at Town Meeting are financed by the CPC for implementation by the applicant.

Applications are due by January 15, 2024. Completed applications should be returned to the Town Clerk's office in the Library Basement at 7 Main Street for distribution at the CPC's February meeting.
