2024 Hubbardston Annual Town Election - Key Dates and Open Positions

The 2024 Hubbardston Annual Town Election will be held on Tuesday, June 11, 2024. Nomination papers for candidates interested in running for town-wide offices are available at the Hubbardston Town Clerk's Office beginning Monday, March 25, 2024.

Key dates for the 2024 election:

  • March 25: Nomination papers available
  • April 23: Last day to submit nomination papers to Registrars (5 pm deadline)
  • May 7: Last day for Registrars to file certified nomination papers with Town Clerk (5 pm)
  • May 25: Last day to register to vote in Annual Town Meeting (5 pm)
  • June 1: Last day to register to vote in Annual Town Election (5 pm)
  • June 4: Annual Town Meeting
  • June 11: Annual Town Election

Town-wide offices that will appear on the 2024 ballot include:

  • Select Board (2 positions - 3 year terms each)
  • Board of Assessors (1 position - 3 year term)
  • Board of Health (3 positions - two 3-year terms, one 2-year term)
  • Cemetery Commission (1 position - 3 year term)
  • Library Trustees (3 positions - two 3-year terms, one 1-year term)
  • QRSD School Committee (2 positions - 3 year terms each)
  • Finance Committee (3 positions - two 3-year terms, one 1-year term)
  • Parks Commission (4 positions - one 3-year, two 2-year, one 1-year)
  • Planning Board (1 position - 5 year term)

Those interested in running for any of these positions must collect a minimum of 24 signatures from registered Hubbardston voters. Nomination papers can be picked up at the Town Clerk's office during regular business hours (Mon 8am-6pm, Tues-Thurs 8am-4pm).
