AMERICAN RESCUE PLAN ACT ADVISORY COMMITTEE

The Town of Hubbardston is looking for letters of interest to fill the newly formed ARPA Advisory Committee.  All letters of interest must be sent to the Select Board Office by August 30, 2021 at the very latest.  This will be a 2 year commitment.  The Committee will consist of 2 Select Board Members, 1 Finance Committee Member, 1 Planning Board Committee member, and 1 Member of the Community. 

The purpose of this Advisory Board is to advise the Select Board how to allocate the monies the Town of Hubbardston has received to help our community through the pandemic.  The criteria we must meet when allocating this money are as follows:

  1.  This money may be used to make up for lost municipal revenue.
  2.  This money can pay for bonuses for some front line workers (those essential workers).
  3.  Economic development/support.
  4.  Invest in infrastructure: water/sewer and broadband
