The Community Preservation Committee is accepting applications!

The Community Preservation Committee (CPC) is accepting applications for the Fall Town Meeting to be held in November.

Project Review Process:

• Projects should be referred to the appropriate town committee responsible for that kind of project.
• Upon receipt of 10 copies of a proposal, copies are distributed to all CPC members. The entire committee reviews the application to determine if the application qualifies for funding under the CPA law and review the proposed budget.
• At the request of the applicant or a CPC member, the committee will schedule an interview and/or site visit with the applicant.
• Once the CPC has approved the project it will be recommended to Town Meeting for a vote. Town Meeting may reduce the amount of funding requested but can not increase the amount requested.
• Proposals passed at Town Meeting shall be financed by the CPC and implemented by the applicant.

Applications are due by August 15th which will be distributed to CPC members for their August 17th meeting. Please return to applications to the Tax Collectors office located in the Slade Building at 7 Main Street.
