Community Preservation Committee Seeking Project Proposals to be funded at Town Meeting - Apply Now!

The Community Preservation Committee is accepting applications for projects to be funded by the Fall Town Meeting in October. Applications are due August 24th. For more information, visit the CPC webpage or call (978) 928-1400.

Project Review Process

• Projects should be referred to the appropriate town committee responsible for that kind of project.
• Upon receipt of 10 copies of a proposal, copies are distributed to all CPC members. The entire committee reviews the application to determine if the application qualifies for funding under the CPA law and review the proposed budget.
• At the request of the applicant or a CPC member, the committee will schedule an interview and/or site visit with the applicant.
• Once the CPC has approved the project it will be recommended to Town Meeting for a vote. Town Meeting may reduce the amount of funding requested but can not increase the amount requested.
• Proposals passed at Town Meeting shall be financed by the CPC and implemented by the applicant.
