COVID-19 Update - Reopening Public Spaces

Covid 19 Update

The Town of Hubbardston is continuing to reopen public spaces and provide safe and socially-distanced services to all residents.

Here are some updated details about the town's reopening plan:

Town Offices - Our town departments are now open for appointments. Please contact our staff to schedule an in-person appointment or to address a concern. We ask that residents limit their visits to only items that are necessary for in-person visits. All visitors are required to wear a mask and follow all CDC social-distancing guidelines.

Public Safety Offices - The public is not allowed in any of our public safety offices (to include the DPW) unless a business item requires a visit. This is to protect our small and dedicated staff and allow them to continue to provide high-quality services. Residents can make socially-distanced appointments with these departments.

Public Library - The Hubbardston Public Library is current offering curbside pick up services and will allow in-person patrons beginning August 4th. To see the library's reopening plan and restrictions, please visit this link.

Senior Center - The Senior Center will begin providing safe, restricted and socially distanced services to our seniors in an outdoor environment beginning August 10, 2020. A temporary senior center (outdoor tent) is being installed adjacent to the Slade Building. All senior activities will be outdoors, socially distanced and restricted to less than 10 participants. Examples of programming include coffee hours, congregate meals, walking club and socially-distanced bingo.

Parks and Open Spaces - All Hubbardston parks, open spaces and playgrounds are open to the public. Please continue to follow social-distancing guidelines when using Hubbardston recreation areas in order to protect all residents and guests.
