Hubbardston COVID-19 Response and Safety Measures

COVID 19

Due to an abundance of caution and in consultation with the Hubbardston Board of Health, the Town of Hubbardston is implementing the following response to the COVID-19 State of Emergency.

Here are the response highlights:

1.) We are restricting access in the town offices to provide social distancing. Town offices are still open, but we are asking that the public limit their interactions and santiize their hands upon entering.

2.) We are cancelling all gatherings of more than 50 people in town owned buildings (except the school)

3.) We are encouraging the cancellation of all events with more than 50 people

4.) We are cancelling library programs

5.) We are cancelling official employee travel and conference attendance

6.) We are authorizing additional hours and money for sanitation techniques. Additional we are requiring residents to sanitize their hands and limit town office visits to protect employees

7.) We will hold an employee staff meeting on Monday to discuss protection methods

8.) We are informing staff to self quarantine if they or their families feel ill

This is challenging times for all, but we join with all levels of government and our peer towns to try and limit the spread of this virus, protect our town's vulnerable populations and protect town staff. We appreciate your assistance and cooperation.
