Local State of Emergency - Hubbardston MA - March 14, 2023

A Local State of Emergency is hereby declared for the Town of Hubbardston, Massachusetts, due to a late Winter Storm that may result in road closures due to significant accumulations of heavy snow, gusty winds, and hazardous driving conditions, effective immediately on Tuesday, March 14, 2023. High winds and severe weather have the potential to further disrupt electrical power and other vital services, as well as cause other potential damages. The situation could endanger public safety. This Snow Emergency Declaration will be in effect until 8 a.m. on Wednesday March 15, 2023.

Officials from the town's Public Safety and Emergency Management departments have asked residents to be patient while electrical vendors work to restore power. If at all possible, please stay off the roads. Concerned residents should call 508-886-4033 ext 0 or 911 in an emergency.
