Regional Waste & Recycling Collaboration and QRSD Budget Presentation - Tonight 6PM (Hybrid)

The Town of Hubbardston invites residents and interested parties to attend two important sessions today, Thursday, March 28, 2024. Both meetings will be held in a hybrid format, with in-person attendance available in the Slade Conference Room and virtual participation via Zoom and Google Meet.

Session 1 - Regional Waste & Recycling Collaboration (6:00 PM):

Irene Congdon from the Montachusett Regional Planning Commission (MRPC) will lead a discussion on potential regional collaboration for waste and recycling initiatives. Town administrators and representatives from Princeton, Hubbardston, and Rutland have been exploring opportunities to work together and apply for grants that could save residents money while making a positive environmental impact across our communities. The meeting aims to broaden the conversation and gather input from a wider audience.

Session 2 - QRSD Budget Presentation (7:00 PM):

Following the regional collaboration discussion, the Quabbin Regional School District (QRSD) will present their most recent budget to the Select Board and Finance Committee.
