Relocation of the Assessor’s Office and Consolidation of Services

In our ongoing commitment to improving constituent services and ensuring the efficient management of town operations, we are pleased to announce an important change regarding the Assessor's Office. Effective July 12, 2023, the Assessor's Office will be moving to the office of the Town Clerk, with the Town Clerk assuming the additional responsibility of serving as the Assessors Clerk alongside her regular duties.

This strategic decision aims to streamline administrative functions, optimize resource utilization, and enhance the overall effectiveness of the town administration. By consolidating these two roles, we can achieve a more cohesive and integrated approach, enabling us to better serve you, the residents.

Please note the following details regarding the relocation and the service changes:

  • Effective July 12, 2023, the Assessor's Office will be physically relocated to the Town Clerk's office at 7 Main St #12, Hubbardston, MA 01452 (Library Basement). All services previously offered by the Assessor's Office will now be available at this new location.
  • The Town Clerk, Candace Livingston, will assume the role of Assessors Clerk in addition to her regular duties. She has received appropriate training and is fully equipped to handle this responsibility effectively.
  • The contact information for the Assessor's Office, including phone numbers and email addresses, will remain the same.
