Reminder - Special Town Meeting TONIGHT 7PM

Below, please find information on the key proposals for tonight's  Special Town Meeting on October 26th. 

Here is a summary:

Article 1 proposes budget reallocations for Fiscal Year 2024 to address shortfalls without reducing long-term services or reserves.

Article 2 proposes increasing funding for Hubbardston's share of the Quabbin Regional School District FY2024 assessment.

Article 3 proposes amending the FY2024 allocation for the Cable Advisory Committee to $30,000 from the PEG Access Fund.

Article 4 proposes allocating $14,354.93 from the PEG Access Fund to cover FY2023 cable expenses.

Article 5 proposes reimbursing $6,991 to QRSD for repairs to the Hubbardston Elementary water pump system.

Article 6 proposes adopting a state law regarding procedures for handling unclaimed municipal funds.
