The Hubbardston Select Board is seeking members of the community to get involved in our town's various boards and committees. These organizations play a vital role in shaping the future of our community, and your participation can make a significant difference.

There are openings to serve in the following capacities:

Board of Registrars: The Board of Registrars is responsible for overseeing voter registration and maintaining the integrity of local elections. By joining this committee, you can contribute to the democratic process and ensure that all eligible residents have the opportunity to exercise their right to vote.

Cable Advisory Committee: The Cable Advisory Committee is involved in the oversight and regulation of cable television services in town. If you have an interest in media, telecommunications, or community outreach, this committee offers a platform to make informed decisions and improve the quality of cable services for our residents.

Capital Improvement Planning Committee: The Capital Improvement Planning Committee is responsible for prioritizing and recommending capital projects and investments to the town. By serving on this committee, you can contribute to the long-term planning and development of our infrastructure, facilities, and public spaces.

Cultural Council: The Cultural Council focuses on promoting and supporting various artistic and cultural endeavors within the Hubbardston region. If you have a passion for the arts (of any kind), this committee provides opportunities to organize events, fund projects, and enhance the cultural vibrancy of the community.

Economic Development Committee: The Economic Development Committee works towards fostering economic growth, attracting businesses, and improving the local economy. By participating in this committee, you can contribute to the creation of job opportunities, the enhancement of Hubbardston's commercial sector, and the overall prosperity of the community.

Monty Tech School Committee Representative: This position involves representing Hubbardston's interests on the Monty Tech School Committee. By taking on this responsibility, you can ensure that the education and vocational training needs of our students are effectively addressed.

Finance Committee: The Finance Committee plays a crucial role in budgetary matters, providing recommendations and oversight for financial decisions in town. Parks and Recreation: The Parks and Recreation Commission is dedicated to the development and maintenance of our town's parks, recreational facilities, and programs. Cemetery Commission: The Cemetery Commission oversees the management and maintenance of our town's cemeteries. If you have an interest in preserving our local history and providing a dignified resting place for our loved ones, this committee offers an opportunity to contribute to the respectful and compassionate care of these spaces.

Board of Health: The Board of Health plays a crucial role in protecting and promoting public health within the community.
