Town Center "Groundbreaking" Held Today at Curtis Recreational Field

Hubbardston, July 17, 2023 - The Hubbardston community came together today to mark a momentous occasion with an event dedicated to the long-awaited Town Center Project. Residents, volunteers, and representatives of the Town, Commonwealth, and Massachusetts Department of Transportation, attended the event, a celebration of nearly a decade of diligent efforts that have culminated in the commencement of the project.

The Town Center Project is a highly anticipated development that will revitalize and enhance the heart of Hubbardston. This transformative endeavor aims to create a vibrant hub that will serve as a focal point for the community, fostering economic growth and community engagement. With immense dedication and perseverance, the project has finally entered its implementation phase, with completion projected for the summer of 2024.

The Hubbardston community eagerly awaits the opportunities and positive impacts that the Town Center Project will bring. Through improved infrastructure and enhanced amenities, this project is set to shape the future of Hubbardston, creating an inviting space for residents and visitors alike. 

The town extends its sincere gratitude to Representative Berthiaume, Select Board Chair Jeff Williams, Select Board Vice Chair Katie Young, Select Board Member Peter Walker, Former Select Board and Town Center Committee Chair Dan Galante, Town Center Committee Member Brett Duncan, as well as the many others who attended today's event. Their unwavering support, partnered with the commitment of many others, has been instrumental in reaching this significant milestone.
