Events

Please check local media, town offices or community listings for specific dates, times, location and other announcements for each event. Events are subject to change.

• Annual Town-wide Yard Sale - Usually held in June each year from 8am-2pm Hold your yard sale the same weekend as others in town and have it listed in a town-wide map. Maps are made available at several locations in town on the day of sale. Watch for details.
• Summer Concerts at the Bandstand - Date and Performers to be announced. Held at the Curtis Recreation Field Gazebo. Free to the public.
• Annual Easter Egg Hunt - Traditionally held the Saturday before Easter at the Curtis Recreation Field. Over 2,000 eggs filled with candy and prizes are hidden. Children are divided by age for the hunt. Appearance by the Easter Bunny. The Event is held rain or shine. For children 2-10. Free, however donations are welcome.
• Courses & Other Events - Past courses for adults and children have included Belly Dancing, Yoga, Tia Chi, Baton Twirling, Chocolate Making, and more. The Park Commission has also decorated the Gazebo at the Information Common for the summer and winter holidays and held Christmas caroling in conjunction with lighting the decorations. Look for upcoming listings!

Interested in helping plan and present programs? The Park Commission always welcomes new volunteers. Won't you help out a few hours a year? New Events and programs are being planned!
